Organization

Brief History and Mission

G’Z US Connects is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2023, born from the shared vision of a group of men and women in recovery who sought to maintain their sobriety while building meaningful connections. Founded by CEO Anthony Medina, the organization began as three softball teams designed to foster camaraderie and support within sober communities.
This comprehensive approach led to the development of Pueblo Unido is One, a four-tier program offering:

Core Program and Philosophy

At the heart of G’Z US Connects is its mentorship program, which fosters trust and relationship-building among youth and their families. Research underscores the importance of paternal involvement in reducing juvenile delinquency, with significant correlations between fatherless homes and behavioral disorders among teens.

Mentorship

Supports at-risk youth through one-on-one and group mentoring. Focuses on building trust and resilience in families and communities.

Intervention and Rehabilitation

Provides professional mental health and substance use treatment. Utilizes bilingual, bicultural providers to ensure cultural relevance.

Prevention Use Services

Offers group therapy, workshops, and educational presentations to teens and families. Collaborates with local churches such as New Creation and Christ Community

Recovery Through Faith

Engages the community with faith-based recovery programs. Builds relationships with organizations
